SMG Business Development Assosciate (Seattle WA)

This position will provide support for business development and administrative services for Seoul Medical Group under the supervision of the SMG Senior Business Development Manager and as part of the AMM Administration Department.


RESPONSIBILITIES-DUTIES

¡¤ Build the relationship of provider networks for purposes of expanding Seoul Medical Group.

¡¤ Outreach to prospective providers and networking within designated regional area.

¡¤ Act as SMG field representative to identified providers for the purpose of marketing Seoul Medical group and negotiating new provider contracts.

¡¤ Act as a SMG liaison with new and current Providers and their staff, frequent travel to meet at provider locations, including delivery of contracts and obtaining signatures at provider offices.

¡¤ Supports the IPA operations in proactive development of effective and collaborative relationships with all primary care and specialty care providers to successfully service and retain business

¡¤ Provide support on various marketing and provider relation projects alongside with broker community and health plan partners.

¡¤ Schedule appointments, meetings, and events.

¡¤ Work with AMM Claims and Administration departments to develop specific presentations, programs and proposal materials.

¡¤ Coordinate in event planning (catering and venue ordering, marketing supplies, etc.)

¡¤ Attend SMG meetings when needed.

¡¤ Maintain excellent customer service and communication to all providers.

¡¤ Any other task or support required by the President of SMG, the SMG Board of Directors or AMM Director of Provider Relations, Administration Manager, and Contracting Manager.

¡¤ Be available for after-hour meetings and events. Attend conferences as directed by AMM Executive Management.

¡¤ Represent AMM professionally with integrity and quality. Must communicate effectively in English and collaborate with AMM Management

¡¤ Must sign AMM Non-Competition Agreement and maintain strict confidentiality.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

¡¤ Bachelor¡¯s degree preferred

¡¤ Ability to travel within and out of State up to 75% of year

¡¤ Valid California Driver¡¯s License and Full Auto Coverage

¡¤ Demonstrate excellent business development skills

¡¤ Able to work independently to carry out assigned duties out in the field

¡¤ Knowledge of Medicare managed care and/or Medi-Cal regulations, policies and procedures a plus

¡¤ Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

¡¤ Ability to maintain confidentiality and routinely handle sensitive information

¡¤ Ability to independently manage multiple tasks and projects with excellent attention to detail

¡¤ Ability to communicate in an effective and appropriate manner

¡¤ Ability to perform administrative work involving independent judgment, accuracy and speed with minimal supervision
